Gaby’s Blog – 12/10/13

Greetings, ranch community!

Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Gaby and I will be blogging here from time to time.

I started therapeutic riding lessons at the ranch a few years ago and have participated in a couple volunteer-in-training summer camps. Over time, the Children’s Ranch has become such an important place for me in my journey through finding peace and confidence despite my diagnosis of Rett Syndrome (a neurological disorder caused by a random genetic mutation).

The Children’s Ranch is such a wonderful environment, that I want to share a bit of my experience with others. I will be working on future posts profiling some of the magnificent animals, interviewing staff, and many other ranch related topics. If you are curious and have questions about the ranch, or have an idea you would like to see written about, please leave me a comment and I will try my best to make it happen.

Thank you for reading!
